Schlingel 2009 - Call for entries...

Call for entries – Schlingel 2009

The 14th edition of the International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience “Schlingel” will take place from 5th to 11th October 2009 in Chemnitz/Saxony. The organiser is the association “Saechsischer Kinder- und Jugendfilmdienst e.V.” (Saxon Service for Children’s and Youth Films).

Schlingel is a stage for international children’s and youth films in Germany. Every year in October the festival shows an overview of current international productions from all over the world.

CALL

Producers, directors and film distributors are invited to send their suggestions for the competitions in the following categories:

  • S - Children’s Film Competition (until 10 years)
  • M - Junior Film Competition (11-13 years)
  • L - Youth Film Competition (14 years and more)
  • XS - Short and Animation Film Competition (until 13 years)
  • D - Focus Germany

Deadline is 1 August 2009

The festival team looks forward to your new and exciting films. The films for the festival competition programme will be selected by a special committee - nominated by the festival organiser. During the festival a panel of experts appoints the winner in every single competition. The prizes have a total value of 25,000 Euros.
